What was I thinking?

Oh my goodness, what on Earth was I thinking last night when I didn't pull my vehicle into the garage.  I know, I know, it's a luxury to even have a garage and I am very grateful.  However, I just don't know why I didn't utilize it last night.  I came in last evening and I had a purse, dinner, and other random stuff to get out of my vehicle.  That's all fine and normal, right?  Well I didn't want to fight the tiny walk-way and having to be careful to not open the door too wide with all my stuff, so I just parked in our driveway and took everything in.  My intentions were to have [fast-food.....eek] dinner with Josh and then bring my faithful Explorer inside for the night.  That would have been a great and practical plan......except that I didn't remember until this morning when it was time to leave!  GEEZ!  My memory is obviously not the grandest.  And of course I had an event early this morning and had planned to leave home at 6:45 this morning.  Yet I was surprised when I walked into the garage and my vehicle was not in it, which led me to remember it was outside.  Plus the glass  was crystallized with frost that I then had to knock off (I should have known, after all it was 24 degrees).  Times like these are humbling and they serve to remind me that I am so easily distracted and often forgetful.  I am also extremely thankful for the garage that keeps my vehicle warm and frost-free - I plan to use it tonight!

You are so lucky to have a garage! I miss having one! But I must brag that each time it snows my boyfriend drives out of the way to come scrape off my car before going to work :)

Oh Hanks....I'm not quite sure what to think about this post. Just remember you are very lucky to have a garage.... others have never had the luxury of EVER having a garage space and don't know what that feels like! :)

Hope you remember to pull it in the garage next time. Love and Miss.

Girls I know, I know -- I'm totally thankful, I promise! :) Because I haven't always had a garage and I know others don't now. I was just so stinkin mad at myself for not realizing it in time because I didn't plan for the scraping ice, so I didn't quite leave on schedule. :( LOVE & MISS YOU BOTH! Thanks for commenting and putting me in the right perspective! hahaha! :)
